Meet Delilah. She came to us pre-named, and honestly, it fits — sleek, smooth, and just a little dangerous. This 2014 Fender Blacktop Strat has spent the last decade doing what she was built to do: make music and turn heads. Despite being a working musician’s main axe, she’s in remarkably good shape — clearly loved and never abused.
The frets show some play time, but there’s still plenty of road left ahead. You can tell she’s been cared for by someone who knows what they’re doing — regular visits to Wendell for setups and tweaks (and even a level and crown) since day one.
Under the hood, you’ve got a Seymour Duncan Jazz (SH-2B) in the bridge, giving you that crisp, articulate punch, and a BHK in the neck that we believe started life in the bridge position when this guitar was new. The mini-switch by the 3-way blade switch? That’s a blower switch, wired to send whatever pickup position you’re using straight to the output for instant, unfiltered tone — like kicking open a door to let the sound breathe.
And because we’re sticklers for details: every guitar we sell gets a fresh setup from one of our in-house Floyd Rose experts, strung to your preferred gauge and tuning before it leaves the shop. Whether you’re hitting the stage or the studio, Delilah will be ready to sing the moment you open the case.
