The Voodoo Master - Custom Made - One-Of-A-Kind - NOLA Bass w/EMG Pickups

This is a beautiful and unique instrument. Inspired by the City of New Orleans, it features Crescent Moons (a nod to the Crescent City) and a Fleur de Lis for fret markers. Active EMG pickups and Hip Shot UltraLite tuning keys (complete with their patented Xtender on the E string, so you can drop to D at a finger's touch) and a HipShot A-Type high mass bridge round out the package.

This bass came to Wendell's in a sad state. It had no strings, no electronics, and the truss rod was broken. Our team rebuilt it! First, the rosewood fretboard was carefully removed and a StewMac 2-Way truss rod and graphite reinforcement rods were installed for added stability. Next up, we installed an EMG P pickup and an EMG MMCS pickup. The controls were wired for independent volume controls with a master tone knob. Next, we installed a Switchcraft jack for reliable output. Finally, the frets were leveled and crowned and it received a full setup from one of our techs.
