Some guitars give you a few good sounds. This one practically begs you to experiment.

This 7-String Jackson Soloist is not only a great playing and AMAZING sounding guitar, it offers limitless tonal possibilities. Reclaimed and re-imagined by one of our own in-house luthiers, this guitar goes places no other Soloist dares to go.

A pair of direct mount Seymour Duncan SH-6 7 pickups drives this guitar's versatile sound, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Our house tech has created a wiring harness unlike any other. From single coil mode you can dial in the exact amount of the second coil of the humbucker you want. Not just all or nothing, your tone game begins to enter a new level. There's even a mini-switch to choose whether you want the inner coils or the outer coils when you're in single coil mode.

At this point the control layout looks less like a guitar and more like something that launches satellites.

The five-way super-switch is wired to give you the option to run your pickups in series, parallel, or even out-of-phase. Combine that with a push-push master volume that doubles as a blower switch and you can go from sweet and tasty to in-your-face back to sweet and tasty at the push of a button. Then when you run all this through a passive 2-way tone circuit that allows you to roll off either highs, lows, or some of both, you get a guitar that is ready for ANYTHING.

We haven't even talked about the beautifully resonant mahogany body, the ultra smooth maple neck, the compound radius ebony fingerboard, and the very convenient locking tuners. The jumbo frets look almost new.

Yes, there has been a headstock repair. Even though it may be cosmetically noticeable, it is rock solid and even stronger that before.

You don't see a lot of these guitars for sale and when they do come up, they don't stick around long. The rare Northern Lights finish helps to make this guitar look as good as it sounds and plays.

If you enjoy turning knobs and discovering sounds you didn’t know a guitar could make, welcome home. The Northern Lights finish alone gets attention, but the custom electronics are what make this guitar genuinely unique.
