If you know Lollar pickups, you probably don't need much of a sales pitch. If you don't, welcome to one of the deepest rabbit holes in the guitar world.
Up for sale is a pristine set of Lollartron humbuckers by Lollar Pickups. They are in excellent condition and work exactly as they should. The only thing missing is the original packaging.
Jason Lollar designed these pickups using a particularly magical 1963 Gretsch Country Gentleman as the tonal benchmark. The goal wasn't to make another generic humbucker—it was to capture the clarity, punch, and articulation of a great vintage Filter'Tron while fitting into a standard humbucker route.
The result is a pickup with exceptional note definition, tight low end, and high frequencies that stay focused on the fundamental note instead of turning into a wash of harmonics. Chords remain clear, single notes have real authority, and the bridge pickup can get aggressive without becoming harsh or muddy.
One of the coolest things about the Lollartron is that you don't have to modify your guitar to get there. These are direct drop-in replacements for standard-size humbuckers, making them a great option for anyone who has wondered what a little vintage Gretsch character might sound like in a Les Paul, ES-style guitar, or any humbucker-equipped instrument.

And let's be honest... if you're shopping for Lollars, you've probably already convinced yourself you need them. I'm just here to help complete the process.
