Some guitars surprise you.

The Samick SS70R is one of those guitars. Built with quality materials, a comfortable slim neck, and dual humbuckers, it's the kind of instrument that reminds you Samick wasn't just building guitars for other companies—they knew how to build a great guitar under their own name, too.

Finished in a beautiful Candy Apple Red with a satin-finished tinted maple neck, this one looks as good as it plays.

Originally sold through our shop, it has had just one owner—an adult student who recently moved up to a higher-end instrument. It was well cared for, and it shows.

Our repair shop has inspected it, given it a professional setup, and installed fresh strings, so it's ready for its next player.

Why Buy This One?

This isn't a mystery internet guitar.

We sold it new, we've serviced it, and we know its history. From day one until now, it has had a single owner who took excellent care of it before trading up. That makes buying used a whole lot easier.

If you're looking for a comfortable, great-playing guitar that delivers far more than you'd expect at this price point, the SS70R deserves a serious look.

Wendell's Music is a repair-centered music store. Every instrument is inspected, cleaned, and professionally set up before it leaves our shop. When you purchase a guitar, let us know your preferred string gauge and tuning—we'll set it up to your specifications so it's ready for the stage or the studio when you open the box.

We don't believe a guitar should need a trip to the repair bench the day after it arrives.
