There’s something about a good cedar-top guitar. They tend to have a voice that feels like it has already been broken in for you—warm, immediate, and responsive from the first note.

This Simon & Patrick CW GT Mini Jumbo is a particularly nice example. Hand-made in LaPatrie, Quebec, as part of the Godin family of guitars, it combines a solid cedar top with wild cherry back and sides in a comfortable mini-jumbo cutaway body. It has plenty of acoustic presence without feeling like you're wrestling with a big dreadnought.

This one has also had a worthwhile upgrade: the original electronics have been replaced with a Fishman ISYS+ system. And that's where this guitar really shines. It sounds great acoustically, but plug it in and it really comes alive.

The guitar is in very clean overall condition, with only minor signs that somebody has actually played it. The frets are exceptionally clean, and we've got it playing beautifully.
